Collaborative robots (CoBots)

Cobots are recommended in manufacturing to reduce human labour. They are designed to work safely alongside humans, and can be programmed to complete a wide variety of tasks. They are incredibly efficient and are capable of performing complex processes with speed and precision. They are also incredibly durable and reliable, and can be used in a variety of environments.

When working on a project we will always select the best machine for the job, this can be driven by budget, takt, or the tasks of the machine. Not all tasks and tools on a Cobot make them safe, end effectors, working height, speeds and several other factors can require the collaborative robot to be treated in the same safety standards as an industrial robot. Industrial robots can often be more cost effective, faster, repetitive and offer a longer life span​
