Design Engineering
At Orka we can create virtually any bespoke machine for any purpose. Our special purpose machinery is used across a wide variety of industries including
Automotive OEM and Tier 1 supply
Aerospace
Food and drink production
Petrochemical
Pharmaceutical
Textiles
No matter what the application is, our team of talented and experienced engineers can design a bespoke piece of machinery for the application you have in mind. We've made investments in software to allow us to design quickly and amongst others use
Fusion 360
Solidworks
EasyEDA
Autodesk EAGLE
Design Services
Whether our customer has an idea or a sketch, ORKA can bring their concept to life.
CAD Design and Model Creation
3D CAD allows us to create detailed three-dimensional models of parts and products. With 3D CAD, detailed models can be created and tested virtually before ever being produced physically. This saves time and money since any flaws or problems in the design can be corrected before the part is actually produced. 3D CAD also allows for greater precision in manufacturing as the exact measurements and specifications can be programmed into the software, ensuring that the parts are produced exactly as intended. 3D CAD reduces waste in the manufacturing process, as the exact amount of material needed for each part can be accurately calculated and used.
Technical Drawings
Our technical drawings allow for quality assured products to be checked throughout manufacturing steps. Each drawing has dimensions to allow for the part to be measured and can also contain tolerances, surface finishes, weld information, and geometrics for the most critical of components.
CAD Simulation and CAD Model Rendering
CAD Simulation allows us to test and optimize a product's design in a virtual environment before committing to costly physical prototyping. CAD Model Rendering helps to create photorealistic images for product presentations, marketing materials, and design reviews. The use of these technologies helps to reduce the time and cost of product development, making them essential for any modern manufacturing process.
